Years of Soul and Bones. Years that smell of petrichor, wet leaves and soil. Forgotten souls wander around the land, tattered and forsaken. The land is torn by the war for the Woven Throne. The piles of the dead, immeasurable. A Father, a hero maybe, ventures on a quest. Those Years are dedicated to him.
The Father finds himself in a glade, stunned by the howls of a dying Wolf Mother. There he experiences a paranormal scene. Ghosts sing the dying wolf to eternal sleep, guiding her spirit and her glorious deeds to the afterlife.
lyrics
Drawn by the Grey Veil,
the misty morning dew,
the lamentation of the trees.
In an abrupt moment and while lost for fourteen days,
once again, silence cracked by eerie screams.
Through sacred mist the voices clear.
Shrubs and bushes show,
a barren clearing in the woods.
There in blood and dust,
howls a woeful beast.
A wounded wolf mother bled to rest.
on Whitethorns.
Ghosts caress the wolf.
In mourning lullabies they sing.
"Burn, Mother Burn.
We mourn you to fade,
for glorious Death is what you seek".
Whitethorn,
trails made of blood
slowly absorbed by souls and soil.
"Seek her to find your son.
Death is closing in.
Face the light and what's within.
Darkness is your way out,
Lady Mistress knows the tale.
Bow and kneel, to the truth,
for the Light denies
what you can't see".
Whispers begging for the end.
Whispers, Ghosts, The Trees, The Dead.
"Burn, Mother Burn
We mourn you to fade,
for Death is now".
Whitethorn, blessed by the Dark.
The Grey Skies are brief,
But Death is Forever More.
